Are you looking to give your home’s exterior a fresh, beautiful new look this year? Imagine Greater Camden (IGC) is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2026 Paint the Town Program!

At IGC, we have a long list of community improvement projects we want to bring to life. While funding is always our biggest hurdle, this specific program allows us to give back directly to our neighbors. We are incredibly excited to help Village homeowners tackle costly updates while simultaneously boosting the historic charm and curb appeal of our community.

Here is everything you need to know to apply and participate:

What the Program Provides:

  • Free Paint: IGC will provide up to a maximum of 15 gallons of paint per selected home at absolutely no charge.

  • Local Pickup: Paint will be available locally through our fantastic partners at Kirch Hardware or Carpenter's Paint & Hardware.

  • Exclusivity: This program is strictly for the exterior of the home.

Program Guidelines & Expectations:

To ensure the success of this initiative and protect our investment in this premium program, we have established a few simple guidelines:

  • Limited Slots: For the 2026 season, a maximum of three homes in the Village of Camden will be selected.

  • Labor & Supplies: IGC provides the paint only. Homeowners are fully responsible for the labor and all painting sundries (brushes, rollers, tape, drop cloths, etc.).

  • Paint Distribution: To keep the momentum going, paint will be distributed 2 gallons at a time.

  • Progress Checks: IGC team members will occasionally perform drive-by visual inspections to verify that the painting project is progressing.

Founded in the late 1700s, Camden carries a rich, beautiful history as the Queen Village of Oneida County. We graciously ask that your ultimate color choices reflect pride and appreciation for our historic roots.

Please Note: IGC reserves the right to deny product if a selected color choice significantly differs from the village's traditional, Victorian-inspired aesthetic. We want to work together to highlight and preserve the timeless beauty of our community!
